Texture & Fragrance
The Plum Goodness Green Tea Day-Light Sunscreen Gel has ultra-light gel texture. Its non-comedogenic formula allows your skin to breathe. The product also has a very light fragrance, but it is not overwhelming for your nose and subsides after massaging the product into your skin.
How To Apply
Dot your face with gel. One dot each on the forehead, both cheeks, nose & chin (5 dots in all). Gently massage in with fingertips in small upward-outward circles. Don’t forget the neck & arms. Reapply after 3-4 hours. Allow at least 10 mins before you step out in the sun. This allows the sunscreen to settle down and stay effective.
My Experience With The Plum Goodness Green Tea Day-Light Sunscreen Gel SPF 35 (PA+++)
I have oily acne-prone skin so I definitely love this sunscreen as its very light on my skin. It feels as if I have nothing on my face. It gets easily absorbed into the skin with a quick massage, without leaving behind any oiliness or grease.
This sunscreen will give you a matte finish, but your skin will look hydrated. I love this fact as I don’t like super matte skin. It leaves behind no white cast. Plus, it didn’t give me any breakouts.
But one thing I would like to add here; after applying the sunscreen I feel a little heat on my face. I think it is due to the fact that it is made up of organic chemicals which absorb UV radiation and then release it from your body as heat. But I feel it right after applying it on my skin before stepping out in sun. So, I am quite unsure of how it works. However, this is not a big concern for me as it subsides after 1 or 2 minutes.
Now Coming To Its Effectiveness
It’s a broad-spectrum sunscreen which protects you from both UVA and UVB rays. UVA rays are responsible for prematurely aging your skin, causing wrinkling and age spots. UVB rays can burn your skin. And too much exposure to UVA or UVB rays can cause skin cancer.
The Plum Goodness Green Tea Sunscreen Gel contains SPF 35 which is good enough to shield your skin from the sun’s UVB rays. And the PA+++ rating offers the best protection from the sun’s UVA rays. I have been wearing it daily from the past 5 days when I am out and about in the sun and till now I haven’t got even a little tan. So, definitely, it does its job well!
One more benefit of using The Plum Goodness Green Tea Sunscreen Gel is that because of its light gel texture and matte finish you can happily put on the makeup after applying it on your face. I know many oily skinned beauties may have faced this problem as most of the sunscreens make them look like an oil factory. So, putting on makeup is quite a difficult task. But your skin will love this sunscreen and will help you to flaunt a flawless makeup.
So in all, I am totally satisfied with The Plum Goodness Green Tea Day-Light Sunscreen Gel SPF35 (PA+++).

Cons Of The Plum Goodness Green Tea Sunscreen Gel
To be honest, I don’t find any con in this sunscreen but the price can be an issue for some. Its price is somewhere in between all the drugstore sunscreens.
But for oily skinned beauties, it’s a very fruitful investment so I don’t mind paying this much for such an effective product. Plus, the quantity needed every day is very less so it will last you long, making it cost-effective.
I would highly recommend The Plum Goodness Green Tea Day-Light Sunscreen Gel SPF 35 (PA+++) if you have oily acne-prone skin. People with dry skin can totally avoid it. It will also be great for combination and normal skin types. But I am unsure about people with sensitive skin as they can feel a little heat or tingling sensation on their skin.
